Parent Involvement District Policy

  • Title I, Part A, San Saba  ISD recognizes the responsibility to provide high-quality curriculum and instruction in a supportive and effective learning environment that enables the children served under Title I, Part A to meet the State’s student academic achievement standards.
  • The District's Title I, Part A program shall be planned and implemented with meaningful consultation with parents of participating students. More on policy click here

PTO (Parent/Teachers Organization)

  • PTO meeting Thursday August 30th at the Elementary School, two meeting options, come at 2 PM in the afternoon or 6 PM in the evening; the 2 PM meeting will be in the campus office & the 6 PM will be in the library. Middle School and Elementary parents, other family members, caregivers and teachers invited. To request another date or time please contact Parent Involvement Coordinator, Mrs. Tabor, 372-3413 or by email, click here.
  • Local Control, Not a National Organization
  • Need volunteers for the Elementary Campus
  • Projects Benefit Schools ( Not always fundraising.)
  • Volunteers choose type of job to match their interests, the campus of their choice and according to time available.
  • We request a commitment to a set schedule at least once a month.

How do I become a school volunteer?

  • Please first fill out a volunteer application and background check request: available under the forms link or at the Central Office at 808 Wallace. Bring the completed forms and your Drivers Licence to Central Office for processing. When your background check has been completed you will be notified. For the safety of students, an approved list of volunteers is provided to each campus and only those volunteers may work on campus. Once your name is on the list, you may sign up for a PTO committee at the Middle School or Elementary Campus, or you may contact the Parent Involvement Coordinator with any questions, click here.
