San Saba ISD Student Registration

San Saba ISD Student Enrollment is now ONLINE! Read ALL of the information below and view the Registration Checklist (click here) prior to attending registration.

Students NEW to SSISD:

  • The enrollment process now begins online through Ascender Parent Portal; click here to begin the enrollment process.

  • There are additional forms that need to be filled out that are in PDF format.

  • Additional PDF forms may be printed at home and completed in advance; please bring them to registration with you (along with the required documents listed below).

    • If you do not have access to a printer, these forms will be available at registration. 

  • After the online forms are completed, you must complete the process by attending registration on the set dates below.

  • If you do not have technology at home to complete online registration, there will be a technology station available, during the registration dates below, for you to register your student online.

  • If you register after the registration date below, please go to your school’s office to complete the process.

 

Required documents for ALL NEW students:

    • Student’s Birth Certificate

    • Student’s Social Security Card

    • Student’s Current Immunization Record

    • Enrolling Parent/Guardian Driver’s License

    • Proof of Residency (tied to enrolling address; such as utility bill, rental agreement, or mortgage statement)

    • Information from Last School Attended

 

In addition to the above items; for students registering for PK-3 or PK-4, they must qualify with one of the following methods (documentation is needed):

    • Current EDG/SNAP number (food stamps)

    • Free/Reduced Lunch qualifier

    • Homeless

    • Foster Care 2085

    • Medicaid

    • Parent is tied to the Military (such as - Active Duty, Reserves, Disabled, Killed in Action)

    • Whose parent is eligible for the Star of Texas Award (Peace Officer, Firefighter, or Emergency Medical First Responder)

    • ESL (English as a Second Language)  

 

Students RETURNING to SSISD:

  • You must have your parent portal log-in information; if you do not have it, please contact your campus secretary at:

  • The re-enrollment process beings online through the Ascender Parent Portal; click here
  • Complete the online portion of student registration.
  • There are additional PDF forms that need to be completed.
  • Additional PDF forms may be printed at home and completed in advance; please bring them to registration with you (along with the required documents listed below).
  • If you do not have access to a printer, these forms will be available at student registration.
  • After the online forms are completed, you will need to finalize the process by attending student registration during the set registration dates.
  • If you do not have technology at home, there will be a technology station available, during the registration dates below, for you to register your student online.

 

Note: Parents must come to the student’s campus, on the set registration dates, to finalize the enrollment process.

 

The enrollment schedule for new and returning students for the 2020 – 2021 school year will be as follows:

  • High School: July 29-30 | 8:00 am – 4:00 pm |High School Cafeteria
    • July 29th– Seniors & Juniors ONLY

    • July 30th– Sophomores & Freshman ONLY

  • Middle School: July 29-30 | 8:00 am – 4:00 pm | High School Cafeteria
    • July 29th– 5th& 6thGrades ONLY

    • July 30th– 7th& 8thGrades ONLY

  • Elementary School: July 27-28 | 8:00 am – 4:00 pm | Elementary Library
