For the last six years, the San Saba High School Student Council has worked diligently to earn money for the American Cancer Society. To date, the Council has given $10,054.80 to this awesome organization. This year working with Tolar High School Student Council, the two groups earned a combined total of $3463.80 in proceeds to be donated. San Saba has opted to donate our part to two organizations this year: the American Cancer Society and the Never Surrender Cancer Foundation of San Saba County. SSHS StuCo would like to thank everyone who purchased a pink T-shirt. Your support is greatly appreciated and impacts many. Accepting a check for $2000 on behalf of the NEVER SURRENDER CANCER FOUNDATION of SAN SABA COUNTY is Donna Shahan, board member. Pictured with Donna are the 2015-16 Student Council officers: Reporter, Micah Cox; Treasurer Wyatt Deans; President Holt Oliver; Secretary Kassandra Cervantes; and Vice President A.J. Paredez.
