Supplies Needed

  • 3-ring binder
  • notebook paper
  • pencils
  • dividers
  • Calculator

Grading Policy

  2.     Major grades will not be delineated from the standard 40% and all major grades have equal weight.

  • Minor Grades - 45%
  1.     For daily work purposes, homework/classwork will be 15% of the 45% and quizzes will be 30% of the 45%.

  • Curriculum Based Assessments - 15%

Tutorials

  • I will be available Tuesday – Friday mornings from 7:30 to 7:45 and Monday – Friday afternoon from 3:43 to 4:00.
  • For those needing extended time in tutorials, please see me to schedule a time.

Late Work

  • Homework assignments will be given to practice the skills and concepts taught in class.  It is extremely important that you complete all of the homework by the due date.  Mathematical concepts build on each other; therefore, practicing each concept is necessary to ensure success.
  • All homework will be due at the beginning of class.
  • It is the student’s responsibility to complete any missed assignments due to an absence.
  • There may be a daily Homework Quiz to assess your knowledge of each lesson.
  • School Policy states:
    • It is expected that all assignments are turned in on the due date.
    • Assignments turned in late will result in:
      • Lunch detention/tutorial with teacher until the assignment is completed
      • Parent contact
      • 30% grade reduction - one day late
      • 10% grade reduction every day thereafter
      • Conference with the principal after 3 days late
